When Colton gets home from School today, he tells me that right before the alarm went off in the middle of the night he heard someone say, "Hurry up Rick, quit goofing around!"
First of all, he was sound asleep when the alarm went off...Secondly, Who's Rick? I don't know where this kid comes up with this stuff!

Now, you see, that would freak me out. In some primitive recess of my brain I would worry Rick was an evil spirit intent on demonically possessing my child and possibly everyone else in the house. I know it sounds crazy and irrational, but it isn't my fault my brain veers off to the paranormal during times like this - it was all those horrible satanic possession movies in the late 1970s and 80s that I was allowed to watch when still young, gullible and impressionable. To this day I do not like to be alone in a house at night. And being awoken in the middle of the night by a wide-eyed preschooler peering into my face, only inches away? Forget about it.
