PARTY TIME !!!!!

It's finally time to celebrate the Birth of my Sweet Kinley girl. This was a new experience for her as well as for me. I've never been able to plan a "girly" party with Colton and Bailey sharing their birthday so I had fun with all of the Pinks and Purples. My Sweet Baby couldn't have been a better Birthday girl. She smiled, she mingled and she had a lot of fun.

She was a little confused with the whole Present thing, but once she realized they were for her, she had a lot of fun with it. My Parents bought her a Picnic table and as soon as she opened it, she crawled right on top and Smiled for the Camera. She's a natural :)

I love this picture of her and the cupcake. At first she wasn't sure if it was o.k. to dig in so she picked a little bit and then dove right in. I couldn't believe she stuck her face down in it. Perfect Photo opportunity!!!

I just love her so much !

Her theme was cupcakes and I really had a lot of fun with it.

We had a Great time and got to see Friends and Family that we haven't seen in a long time.

Birthday Parties are done for the Year. I love the parties, but I think next year we'll just take a trip.

Happy Birthday Sweet Baby. Mommy Loves You!!!!

My Sweet Baby turns 1

She doesn't even know it, but today is my Sweet Kinley's Special Day! I can't believe a year has gone by already. It seems like yesterday, we were bringing her home from the Hospital. We thought our family was complete until that day in January when I found out I was expecting this precious gift from God. She has brought so much joy into all of our lives. She makes me Smile everyday and I thank God that he had different plans for us. Now we are Complete!

She enjoyed waking up to me singing Happy Birthday to You!!! She danced and I laughed. I look forward to seeing this Sweet face every morning.

Practicing for the Big Day

Well, it's three days away from Kinley's 1st Birthday Party so I decided I'd better get her outfit out and make sure it still fits. I bought it over a month ago and she has grown A LOT since then. We have been "practicing" with her all week with the crown so hopefully come party time, she will leave it on. Everytime I put the crown on her head, she claps and then I sing Happy Birthday to her and she dances like it's the Best song she's ever heard. Hopefully at the party she won't get overwhelmed and cry. TWO MORE DAYS and my Baby will be ONE!!! Where does the time go???

I can't believe it has already been a Year!

Sand and Water, HERE WE COME!!!!!

I was so excited when Greg told me to plan a trip to the Beach. I LOVE the Beach. I love the smell, the sounds, the sand and the Water. We've always gone to Corpus Christi or Port Aransas, so this year we decided to go to South Padre Island. This was Kinley's first time to play on the Beach. She loved it and I loved that she didn't try to eat the sand. She actually got down with her shovels and buckets and had a good time with Colton & Bailey. We would play at the Beach and then hit the Swimming pool at the hotel. The Pool was very nice. Greg and I sipped on Pina Colada's and the kids drank Virgin daiquiri's. They thought that was really cool.

Kinley had been toying with the idea of walking, but hadn't FULL BLOWN walked yet. The minute we put her on the sand, she stood up and walked like she had been doing it for months. That was the end of our little crawler. She's been on her feet ever since. The Sea Turtle Rescue Center was right down the street from our Hotel, so we decided to check it out. They take in injured Sea Turtles and the ones that can make it, they turn back into the Water. The other ones they keep or send to Zoo's or other places where they can be taken care of for the rest of their lives. It was really interesting and the kids enjoyed seeing all of the different turtles.
On our last day, Greg decided he wanted to rent a jet ski for him and the kids to ride. Colton and Bailey had never been on one before so this was a new experience for them. Colton loved it and Bailey said it was so relaxing that she wanted to go to sleep. Hmmm, I can honestly say that jet skiing has never had that affect on me.
We also went on a Dolphin Watch. They took us a few miles out on the water and stopped when we started seeing dolphins. That was really fun and the kids had a Great time. All in all, it was a successful Vacation. I love spending time with these guys. I am one lucky girl.

Vacation Bible School #2

Colton and Bailey are now at the age where they like to go spend some of their Summer with their Ninny and Papa (Greg's parents) Actually, Colton would go live there if we let him. This year they decided to go to Vacation Bible School in Winchester at one of their Ninny's friends Church. (This was their 2nd VBS this Summer) Colton wasn't really that interested in going, but he agreed that he would go and I think he had a good time. Bailey was excited about going (she's been looking forward to it since Summer started) She's my little Social Butterfly. She rarely meets a stranger. Give her 5 minutes and she'll know your whole life story and she'll be ready to be your Best Friend. I hope this quality sticks with her. I think it's a good one to have.

Here they are showing off their flower pots they made during VBS.
They wouldn't even let me have one of them.
They left them both for their Ninny.

This is Bailey and Miss Kay. Bailey LOVES Miss Kay. Miss Kay has known Colton and Bailey since they were born. She helps run the VBS at her church and has invited them to come since they were old enough. I'm glad they actually got to go this time. Bailey made her a pair of earrings and gave them to her on the last day. Sweet Miss Kay took the earrings she had on right out of her ears and put in the ones that Bailey had made. That made Bailey feel really good.

River Babies

Today Vanessa and I decided to take the kids to the Guadalupe State Park. She had never been there and we knew the babies would love it. Colton and Bailey love the river and now Kinley does too. She really enjoys being in the water, but I did have a problem keeping the rocks out of her mouth. I'll be glad when she grows out of thinking everything is edible.

Lemonade Anyone???

Today I decided we needed to have a Garage Sale and the kids decided they needed a Lemonade stand. They moved their stand around 3 times until they found the perfect spot. They wanted to call it quits a few times, but they kept pushing on. It was REALLY HOT!!!

Most people weren't even coming to the Garage Sale. They were just pulling up and ordering Lemonade. The kids were really excited every time someone would stop. (I must admit, I was too) Now, for the most exciting part of the day....... A couple pulled up in an older model Expedition and a Woman gets out. She walks up to the kids and asked them Why they were selling Lemonade. Bailey says, "We are raising Money for a Pool Membership, and it's $200.00. (We told the kids if they wanted to swim they needed to raise some of the Money for the pool) It's just our way of teaching them some sense of accomplishment. The lady then pulls two twenty dollar bills out of her wallet and hands it to the Kids. They couldn't believe it. Talk about EXCITING. After she drove away, the kids both came running in the House shouting, LOOK, FORTY DOLLARS. I sure wish I knew who that lady was. It's not everyday that you see that type of kindness. Needless to say, together we raised enough money for our Pool Membership and had fun doing it. The kids were both excited that they had a hand in paying for it.

My Son, The Comedian

Colton, Colton, Colton. He makes me want to pull my hair out and Laugh all at the same time. He is such a busy body and is always into EVERYTHING....in this case, he was in his Baby Sister's closet. He makes me laugh without even trying, but on this day, he had props. If he knew that I was posting this picture of him with his 10 month old Baby Sister's outfit and diaper on, he would probably not talk to me for days, but I had to write about this so I can show him when he's old enough to think it's funny. I promised him I wouldn't post it on facebook, but I never said anything about my Blog.
My Seven Year old just trying to make his Mommy laugh.
I love you Son.

Let the Summer Begin !!!

We started our Summer as we usually do. GOING TO THE DEER LEASE!!!! It's our Home away from Home and the kids LOVE it there. It's not very often that we ALL get up there at the same time, so when we do, GUESS WHAT, FAMILY PICTURES!!! Last time we did this we had an extra person outside of the Family to take the picture. (No such luck this year) Thank Goodness for delayed self timers. You wouldn't know it, but the Camera was sitting on a four wheeler with a 10 second delay. I would set it and then run and try to find a place in the picture. This sounds easy, but I was actually having to climb on a log to get there while the whole family counted down. Needless to say, we did this at least 10 times so I got a workout. Poor Kinley didn't know what was going on. All she knew was that Mommy was running around like crazy. This is probably why her head is turned. She was trying to figure out where I went.

Another T-ball Season over

Today was our T-ball party. Honestly, I think the only reason my kids even play T-ball is for the snack after the games and the trophy at the end of the Season. We had a Great Season this year. The coach was Great and the kids really enjoyed making new friends. Sadly, this will be their last year playing T-ball. They're growing up so fast.

First Grade Graduates

I can't believe my BABIES are going to be in the 2nd Grade. The older I get the faster time goes by. It feels like yesterday that I was all emotional because they were starting School. Today was Awards day at School so we now have more stuff for their baby books. I'm going to have to eventually find a different spot for these things. I was very proud of Both Colton and Bailey. I was even a little proud of myself. (They both got a No tardy award because neither one of them had been tardy all year) I think maybe that award should go to the Mom's or Dad's since we're the one who gets them up and going and off to School on time. :)

Happy 7th Birthday

I can't believe my Babies are 7 years old. Where has the time gone? It's seems like yesterday that we were bringing these tiny babies home and I wasn't sure if I was cut out for this Mommy thing. Today we had a Great time with all of their little friends and a Great Big Waterslide. We had a couple of moments where we thought our Waterslide wasn't going to make it. It was two hours late, but while the kids were waiting they made the best of it by running around the yard shooting each other with Water guns. Here I was stressed out about this slide and the kids were totally fine with it. The Candy Bar kept them busy too. Colton & Bailey got TONS of Great stuff and really enjoyed having their friends here. Another Year gone. They'll be in High School before I know it.

Happy Easter

It's Easter. We all know the real meaning of Easter. The Easter Bunny and Dressing up. (Just kidding) This morning or should I say the middle of the night, Colton crawled into our bed and wanted us to get up to see if the Easter Bunny came. I put my arms around him and said, "Go back to sleep" I know, MEAN right, but come on......he could have at least waited for daylight. Needless to say we were all up at SUNRISE, checking out the goods. The kids were so excited... even Kinley. I love Easter and Christmas. Obviously because of the Real Meaning, but also because I love to see the looks on my kids faces when they see what was left for them. After that fun was over, we all got dressed and headed off to Church to celebrate the real reason for this Season. Two hours later.... Church was still going and these folks had to go. Three kids and a two hour service were not mixing. (There was no Children's Church or nursery. We came home and had Ham, lima beans and Cheesy Mashed Potatoes. Another Great day had by the Kleiber Family. Reality strikes tomorrow. Back to work for Greg and back to School for Colton & Bailey. Kinley and I will just play it by ear.

PS: How hard it must have been for God to give his only son to die for our sins so that we could have Everlasting life. Thank You Jesus.

Neighborhood Fun

We actually stayed home this Easter so we decided to take the kids to the Neighborhood's Annual Easter egg hunt. It was quite the production. They had tons of food, face painting, sack races, a bunny petting zoo and more. The kids were pumped about getting to run after plastic eggs with Candy in them. Unfortunately some people decided to donate Chocolate Candy that got placed in plastic eggs and put out in the Texas heat a couple of hours before the hunt started. Needless to say, those eggs got thrown out as soon as the hunt was over. Chocolate was oozing out of them. The kids didn't mind. They got plenty of other Candy and the whole experience was fun for them. They even had a hunt for Kinley's age group. They said Go, and she went to crawling. It was very cute to watch. Bailey wanted to help her out so bad, but I said, just let her go and see what she does. She ended up with about 4 eggs in her basket. Bailey and Colton on the other other hand ended up with more than they needed. I hope there is not a Dental expense in our near future. Fun was had by all, but we were worn out. Afterwards we went to Academy and bought floats for the River (with good intentions of going) and went and ate at Willie's. Greg and I did most of the eating. Colton and Bailey parked themselves in the sand box pretty much the whole time. By the time we got home, naps were taken and then it was too late to go to the River. I love busy days. It makes me feel like something got accomplished. Now if I could just accomplish something around this house, I'd be doing good.

Kinley's First Visit to the Dentist

Today I took Colton to the Dentist to have some work done.

It took all of 15 minutes, so we decided to let Kinley get her first dose of the Dentist. She was happy to sit in the chair and naw on the Dentist fingers. She chewed on his fingers for a good five minutes. He just let her because he thought it was so funny. I hope all her Dentist appointments are this fun for her.

Sweet Little Bunnies

Today was so much fun. Vanessa and I got the babies together for a little Easter photo shoot. Vanessa made the cutest bunny ears! She's very talented. I think I'll be learning a lot from her. Kinley and Sidney had a great time chewing on their plastic eggs while Vanessa and I danced around and made funny faces trying to make them smile. We laughed at each other at one point because Mom's will do just about anything to get a smile out of a kid for a picture, even if it is a little embarrassing. This is Kinley and Sydney's first Easter and I think we did a pretty good job capturing their cuteness.

Floats are FUN!!!

When the kids came home with an assignment to make a float out of a shoebox, I was Super excited. I LOVE projects like this. My downfall is the fact that I am a total control freak so I end up doing most of it, if not all of it. I don't mind doing all of it, but I don't think they send projects home like this so that the parents can do them all by themselves. I asked Colton & Bailey what kind of float they wanted to do, praying that they would pick something that I could have fun with. Naturally Colton wanted to do a Farm Float. He's my little Country Bumpkin! Next, Bailey....Can we do a Pretty Pink Barbie Float????? ABSOLUTELY!!!! I can have A LOT of fun with that. I did manage to let them glue a few things on so technically we did this project together. When we took the floats to School on float day, I was happy to see that there was Obviously more parents who took on this project themselves as well. I was amazed at all the different ideas everyone had. There was one girl that had a stage with Justin Beiber on it, and it was no easy task. It looked AWESOME!!! I wish I had taken a picture. Another kid had a centipede float made out of several shoe boxes. All the floats were really cute. What a great project!!!

One day later and still WORN OUT!!!!

I would like to be one of those people that just can go and go all day long, but the sad fact is that I AM NOT! I use to be able to hang, but not so much anymore. I went to bed at 2:30am Friday night because I was working on a gift for my niece. Not a smart move when I had to get up at 7:30 the next morning to get ready for an early T-ball game. After shooting down a 5 hour energy, I was ready to go. Aunt Mary, Ninny (Greg's Mom), Katie and Klay (Niece & Nephew) came to see Colton & Bailey play so they were really excited. After the game Mary, Katie & Ninny went back to the Deer Lease and My Family plus Klay headed to the School Carnival. Greg & I split up because the Boys wanted to do "Boy" stuff and Bailey wanted to get her face painted and hair & nails done at the Beauty Salon put on by the 5th graders. She also wanted to do the cake walk and was determined to win. We were almost out of tickets and she did not want to leave. She insisted that she play until she won a cake. I finally had to put a stop to it. We went on to play a few games and ended the day with snow cones. All in all it was a Great Carnival. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Kinley was so good during the whole thing. She's such an easy baby. After the School Carnival, we loaded up the crew and headed to the Deer Lease in Fredericksburg. By this time, I am DRAGGING, but trying to look alert. While I was driving up there I was day dreaming of taking a nap, but then I would have to snap out of it. Wouldn't want to fall asleep on the road. Once we got there, we were in full force again. The kids wanted to go play in the river so hear we go again. Ninny watched Kinley for me so I did get a break from that. Mary and I sat in our lawn chairs and caught up while the kids played. Once that was over we all went back up to the camp house, ate our dinner and for the most part passed out. I don't think I've slept that hard in a LONG time. Now we're home and my house is in desperate need of some attention, but it will have to wait. My recliner was calling my name and I had to oblige. I plan on sitting here for a while. The rest of the family is napping. Maybe I'll sit here and fall asleep too. Nothing like fishing with your Chips Ahoy!

Project Make New Friends...

Today I set out to do what I said I would do. MAKE NEW FRIENDS. I went to the neighborhood Mommy's meeting to see what it was all about. Besides me, there were 3 other Moms. One Mom, Shelley who I have known (but never hung out with) for 2 years and another Mom, Vanessa. I'll start with Shelley. Why have I never hung out with her? She's great. I really enjoyed talking with her and hopefully we can start getting together more often. Our kids are good friends so why not us? O.k. Vanessa.... She's new to the neighborhood so I don't think she's established a lot of friendships yet, but unlike me she's actually putting in the effort. She has a baby that is less than a month older than Kinley so that works out great. They were so cute together. I think we will get together soon so the babies can play. All in all, it was a Great experience and I think I walked away with two new friends. YEAH ME. I feel like I've actually accomplished something. Who knows Jill (I say that b/c you're probably the only one reading this) I might become a Social Butterfly like you. (Minus the baking for everyone in sight) I think I like this blogging thing. It sure beats writing in a journal. Till Next time, goodnight.
